Good news first: I am going to be a "featured alumna" at my grade school next week for my work with CCI.
Bad news: This involves a presentation about CCI and puppy raising, which also involves public speaking....
Luckily, with the help of the CCI Chicago Satellite Office, the director was able to get two grads to come help me out with a demonstration and talking to the kids about assistance and how they enhance the lives of the people they work with. I'm very excited to see the demo, and get the kids excited about CCI (which may lead to a school-wide fundraiser...), but I HATE public speaking!!! But, it's all worth it!! I'm pretty excited to go back and show what I've been up to and stuff. I'll post pictures :). That happens on the 30th (next Wed. I believe).
I have also made a resolution to start taking more pictures of Ty. I have barely any of her out and about in public, and it's starting to make me sad! I also have like 10 pictures total of me and her actually together...so gotta get more of those!!
Hopefully I'll be able to put up some pictures later tonight!!

Good luck with your presentation - I also hate public speaking but it seems to be a lot easier when you're talking about something you love (ie DOGS!).
I also know what you mean about the pictures - not that I don't take enough in general (if there was such a thing as taking too many puppy pictures, that would be me - fortunately there isn't!) but not having enough of me with the dog. Maybe I'll make that my resolution too.
I had to do a CCI presentation a American Girl and a local Lions club. It was hard the first times but If I have to ever do it again I am prepared. It's a good learning experience. GOOD LUCK!!!

Good luck with your presentation!! I used to hate public speaking, but after I took my public speaking class last semester, I don't think it's quite as terrible now. :) You'll do well 'cause you're talking about puppies!!! hehe! Keep us updated!
Good luck with the presentation! I'm sure you'll do great.
And I know what you mean about pictures - I have tons of pics of the dogs playing and stuff but very few with them out and about. I either forget the camera,or just feel awkward taking pictures in the grocery store lol.. I really need to start!
