:(

Our blogger female pups must really be in sync! Tyanna went into heat today...

We are still figuring out our plans to get her down to CCI. I'm going to miss my baby SOOO much!! Three weeks without her!! Well, one of them I'll be in California on spring break, so hopefully that will help ease the pain :).

Does anybody know how regular females are? I know their heat cycles are on a 6-month cycle, but do they stick to that? Ty's turn-in date is exactly 6 months away, and I'm praying she wont be in the kennels...

Maddie! I may be traveling to OH on March 26th. If she is still there I will take a picture for you. Maybe if she is done my mom ans I could take her to South Bend, IN. Hope it all goes well!

Read your email! I sent you an email on the subject.

HOPEFULLY Onalee will go into heat. Almost all the females in her lines have a 1 year gap in between heat cycles, which means I won't have to worry about her when I get a new pup or turn in (assuming she decides it's okay to be like the rest).

Make Onalee go into heat!

Oh goodness, I hope that Wylie doesn't follow this trend. We are just waiting to schedule her spay, and I won't appreciate it if she goes into heat before then.

As for the regularity, it really depends on the dog. My Dallas wasn't in heat until she was 15 months, and since then has been 7-9 months in between. Her sister was every 6 months on the dot from the time she was 9 months old. They do tend to be less regular between the first few, but even that is just a generalization - you really can't predict it.

AHH, don't say the blogger girls are in sync!! That means Camry's next! And no, I won't pay attention to the fact that one of Camry's sisters is in heat... ahhh!! I am SOO not ready for Camry to go in to heat right now. :( Good luck spending three weeks without your girl!! California for spring break? Coming to visit me? ;)

Yikes! It does seem to be contagious! Unlike the other Emily, I would say that 3 weeks goes by really fast, but maybe that is just because I am so busy right now! Good luck getting her to the kennels... I am very jealous of all of you who have that option!

This is where I hit my head and go " DUH ERIN!!" lol...for some reason i thought her surgery was linked to her getting spayed and then she had to have another one.....

Don't mind me/...

Anyways....I have to echo Emily w/Suede...three weeks is a REALLY long time.

All these females...I think they plan it. ;) Hope her time in heat flies by for you. I can't "echo" anyone, I only raise these big boys. :) But I'm fairly certain I would start to miss Spike after three weeks without him. Good luck!
